GPGPU WG Meeting - GPGPU with ATI/AMD and StreamComputing

 

ATI introduced several month ago the first 2 TFlops GPU, called HD4870 X2, having two GPU chips, each capable of 1 TFlops. The meeting will discuss, the product line and framework tools available from ATI for developing GPU Computing solutions. In addition we will discuss applications development issues with ATI, from various environments, and how it is possible to integrate GPU solutions with existing applications, also written in .NET.

This discussion will serve as a baseline for the creation of a unified model for accessing GPU hardware for applications.
